Always very, very tasty and recommendable. Gladly again ! Unfortunately, our order over the phone had been misplaced recently, but our meal was ready within a very short time (10 minutes) and so there was no reason to complain. Thanks !

Romantic / authentic ambiente, tasty dark beer (schwarzer Steiger), perfectly prepared meat (Wächtergrillteller), the sides as well. The staff is kind and well mannered. Can't give 6 stars ;-) ... Clean restrooms!

We were there without a reservation and got a nice table very quickly. The food was first class, the preparation and how it was presented is the best I have experienced in a long time. All in all we were very satisfied and would like to come back;)

Very friendly welcome and a quaint restaurant. The in-house cucumber lemonade is a must for a Spreewald vacationer. The dishes are very tasty and are delivered fresh and warm without a long wait. Every visit is worthwhile here.

Another taste experience !!! We eat several times in the city guard every year when we are visiting Cottbus. The location, the food and the service are simply unbeatable. Today we had banana wheat & pink rosi as drinks. Both extraordinary, but super delicious. Thank you for the great ideas! For the meal there was spiced meat, goat meets sheep, guardian grill plate, Uschi & as dessert the super delicious pudding in a glass. Try it all out !!!! A visit to the city guard makes you happy, especially in these somewhat sad times. I'll put in a few more photos so you can see what I'm writing about.

Price performance really okay. Good portions and really good taste. The cook makes every effort. Service friendly and attentive. I can only recommend it to all visitors and residents. Keep it up and thank you for the nice evening. 👍🏻

Amazing place, true gem we've discovered by chance. Gonna be back to Cottbus to visit them again. Quite expensive, but worth every cent!

After many years I was back in Cottbus today and visited the city guard. Not much has changed there. The service was very friendly and I had to wait. Food is still very tasty, I think at reasonable prices. Keep it up
